Enrolments
Enrolment at South Yarra Primary School
South Yarra Primary School is a Victorian State Government Primary School located at 601 Punt Road, South Yarra.
South Yarra Primary School, due to space limitations, has a designated and approved Department of Education (DE) Neighbourhood Boundary zone which is extremely close to the school. No enrolments are accepted outside the zone.
By law, primary schools are required to request and record information on the immunisation status of students prior to enrolment. Parents or guardians must provide an Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) immunisation status certificate to the school regardless of whether the child is or is not immunised.
Documents produced by GPs or other immunisation providers are no longer acceptable as school entry immunisation status certificates. AIR immunisations are obtained through your Medicare online account accessed through myGov or call 1800 653 809.

Please visit the ‘Starting School page’ on the Victorian government website which advises families when and how to enrol their child/ren into Foundation (Prep) at a Victorian government school. The new timeline seeks to make the enrolment process simpler, clearer and fairer for families.
